I attended the University of South Florida, and graduated with a Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering. While studying, I began tutoring students in test prep, and helped 50+ students achieve there target score with a 100% satisfaction rate. In my free time, I like to spend time with my family, play sports, and work on independent coding projects. I love teaching and am committed to helping students discover and reach their full potential through real world scenarios.

Hello, my name is Carmen and I’m a recent graduate from the University of Florida. I received my Bachelor of Arts in French and Francophone studies as well as a certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) in May 2021. At the University of Florida, I volunteered to tutor English as a second language (ESL) and French. During my TESL internship, I designed and taught an online English workshop to six UF visiting scholars through Zoom. Because of this workshop, I have plenty of experience designing lesson plans and materials. Since graduating, I have become an English and Math tutor at Northwest Florida State College. I help collegiate high school students and college students with subjects such as Writing, Reading, French, Developmental Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus.
